How convenient! – The year I decide to scrape up some loot to attend my first ever Blogging While Brown Conference is the first year the Black Weblog Awards decides to do a live ceremony in conjunction with BWB…which is the first year a Brotha gets nominated for the “Best Science or Technology Blog” category

I am excited to say the least. There is some strong competition in the category (including reigning winner in the category…and previous employer, BlackWeb 2.0 #Awkward, lol!) but frankly, I’m just beside myself to be mentioned alongside my peers.

Now that I have reached my brown nosing quota for the day – Vote for a Brotha so I can win! It would definitely make all the money I paid to fly out to L.A. for just a weekend my learning experience at Blogging While Brown worthwhile.
