CableJive iStubs Bundle Review
Have I told you all that I hate tangled cords? Well, I do. I am constantly going behind my entertainment center, computer desk and inside my laptop bag to untangle cords.
So when I stumbled on the CableJive website, I immediately ordered a black iStubz Bundle reasonably priced at $14.95.
iStubz come in 7cm (2.75 inches) and 22cm (8.66 inches) lenghts for all iOS devices, and do exactly what the picture above displays: cuts the extra cord out of a standard Apple sync cable for more manageable cable lengths. The cables look exactly like the out-of-the-box Apple cords and function the same as well. Additionally, the iStubz from CableJive also come in white or black.
So now, instead of this:
I have my choice of this:
And for the coup de grace, when I need to setup my SSO (Starbucks Satellite Office) I can plug up all my devices and look

Since this is a review, and I feel I must provide my entire experience with the CableJive iStubz product, my first set of cables that were delivered did have a flaw. The first time I plugged in and disconnected the cables, the cable housing on BOTH the 7cm and 22cm cables came apart to show the tiny electrical board hidden in the cable:
I quickly contacted CableJive support, and within a week, and the nice folks sent over a new iStubz Bundle and return postage to send the defective cables back…no questions asked. The new cables are just as sturdy as my Apple cables, so I will chalk it up to just a bad batch. On the bright-side, I guess I also got a chance to review CableJive’s customer support practices and procedures as well.
So for BOTH the CableJive iStubz bundle and the customer support team, I give them a solid passing grade. CableJive also has an assortment of other cables from super long xlSync cables to dockXtender cables that will allow you to keep your super-thick phone case on while docking to a sound system. So check out the CableJive website and see what they have
As my very special gift, enter the code: “BrothaTech” (omit the quotes) and you’ll…probably get some sort of “this coupon code does not exist” error message, lol!
I don’t have it like that…yet.
