Boxee has released a stand-alone iPad app that makes it easy for a user to find and share videos from Facebook, Twitter, or Tumblr friends. You can immediately view your friend’s videos or “save them for later” that will add your videos to your universal Boxee que that is viewable on your iPad app, desktop application, or funny-looking Boxee Box.

The hunt for THE universal, cross-platform messaging app just got a little more confusing now that Facebook has released its own messenger for iPhone and Android. If Facebook can pull off what BlackBerry Messenger or the upcoming iMessenger for iOS wants to accomplish, messaging buddies regardless of the device they’re using may have just gotten easier.

Google+ Now Supports iPad and iPod Touch

Remember when Steve Jobs first announced the “Magical” iPad tablet that could run iPhone apps in addition to apps specifically built for the iPad? Well, that wasn’t the case for the new Google+ app that in addition to Apple being slow on approving the app for the iPhone, has just recently received an update that will allow it to run on the iPad and iPod Touch.

Overall, the Google+ received a nice improvement to Huddle features including the ability to hide or mute specific Huddle chats in addition to refusing a Huddle invite without running the risk of entirely blocking the user from sending future invites.

The cool Boomerang Gmail desktop plug-in lets Firefox/Chrome users schedule when their outgoing messages are actually sent. Additionally, you can write reminders or follow up messages to yourself via email and make sure they arrive right when you’re ready to read them (instead of getting lost in all the junk mail your receive first thing in the morning).

Think of Boomerang as a Tweet scheduler…just for email. To use the service, you had to install it to your desktop browser. Now Boomerang offers a mobile option that lets you schedule your emails at anytime from anywhere.
